Thank you for your interest in the book service branch of Speak Through Me Communications. Our goal is to help you get your book out of your head and into your hand. The easiest way we know to accomplish this objective is to do the tedious part for you. That’s right. We manage all the cumbersome details of self publishing so you can focus on writing. We take care of all the book issues.
Although we do other things, our focus is on formatting, editing, and designing a book of which you will be proud. We’ve broken it into a few key areas. Formatting Complete formatting and layout including: Interior file setup Layout (page setup - design) Font selection (design) Black and white interior (color interior - $30) Image placements ($250) Page color recommendation Trim size recommendation Opening pages (chapter or section) Running heads / footers / folios We want your book to look first-rate! Important Stuff and Legal Stuff You Need To Do
What We Don’t Do We are firm in the belief that when God gives you a message, you need to share what God gives you. As needed, we will clean up grammatical issues or anything that is potentially confusing to the reader. We do minor rewrites for clarity, flow, and design. If necessary, we will make edits that are more substantial. To the best of our knowledge, we will make content adjustments for legal purposes. Rest assured it is not our intent to change your message. Write what God gives you. We do not assume rights over your material. What you write is yours. You retain all legal rights to your work. Sadly, we make no guarantees that you will become a bestselling author overnight or ever. However, in our post strategy session we have added ideas for publicity. Speakers write and writers speak. It's rare to get around that one. Public speaking is one of the best ways to get the word out about your book. And, having your own book is one of the best ways to add credibility to your speaking. Please Note We specialize in Christian, nonfiction, perfect bound (softcover) books. The estimated time is 4 to 6 months from the official start date (when we receive your approved files, requested information, authorization, initial deposit, etc.). We will work with you toward a reasonable time if you need your book expedited. Cost - $2500 Your investment is based on an estimated 25,000 word count, black and white interior. Manuscript SubmissionsAs much as we would love to work with you, we cannot take on every project. Please submit your manuscript for review to see if we will be right for this venture. Be mindful this is a niche service. In order to give you our best, we prefer to limit our consideration of books. We work with adults who desire to self publish an uplifting, faith-based, nonfiction book. We manage teaching workbooks, self help, and other similar types of books, workbooks, and journals as well.
Expect a minimum of 3 weeks for review.
